Dr. Yashica Shah is a New Jersey native who graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with honors. Dr. Shah has both a B.A. in the biological basis of behavior (from the College of Arts and Sciences) and a B.S. in bioengineering (from the School of Engineering and Applied Science).

Dr. Shah went on to the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, obtaining her Doctor of Medicine in 1998. During her residency at the University of Chicago Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, she received numerous Golden Apple Awards for excellence in teaching. Dr. Shah also received additional awards of recognition for her work in performing and analyzing ultrasound imaging.

Dr. Shah is fluent in Gujarat and Hindi. She has limited Spanish proficiency. 

In 1980, Dr. Steven Haskel received his Bachelor’s of Science from Cornell University. He achieved his MD from the University of Pittsburgh Medical School in 1984. Dr. Haskel completed his OB/GYN residency at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in 1988, sparking his interest in infertility and menopause medicine, and thus motivating him to begin his practice.Dr. Haskel has been a Board Certified OB/GYN since 1989. He is a member of the American College OB/GYN, the American Fertility Society and the North American Menopause Society. Since 1988, he has been an attending physician at both St. Clare’s Hospital and Morristown Medical Center, as well as a Lifeline Associates founding member. Dr. Haskel served as an Army Reserve OB/GYN from 2002-2006, as well as an OB hospitalist at Morristown Medical Center from 2010-2016. Dr. Steven Haskel practices primarily at the Parsippany, Rt. 46 location and can be contacted via 973-335-4466.

Dr. Samra Shafiq completed her undergraduate studies at The College of New Jersey before attaining her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then moved to Dayton, Ohio for her first year of Obstetrics & Gynecology residency at Wright State University.

After her first year of residency, Dr. Shafiq completed her residency at Monmouth Medical Center’s Obstetrics & Gynecology program in Long Branch, NJ. During her fourth year of residency, Dr. Shafiq served as administrative Chief Resident.

Dr. Shafiq is fluent in Urdu.

In 2005, Dr. Diana Huang received her Bachelor’s Degree from Barnard College-Columbia University, graduating magna cum laude. During her undergraduate studies, she was an undergraduate research fellow in Dr. Cathy Mendelsohn’s Urology Lab.

In 2009, Dr. Huang pursued her Medical Degree from SUNY-Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Education, where she received the Cylde L. Randall Society Award in Gynecology-Obstetrics for Academic Excellence. In 2013, Dr. Huang completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency from Beth Israel Medical Center, where she was honored as Chief Resident. She also received the Resident Research Award and the AAGL Resident Award in Minimally Invasive Surgery during her chief year. Dr. Huang’s peer reviewed research paper, “Tuberculosis peritonitis presenting as acute abdomen: a case report” is published in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Huang has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery.  She is also a breastfeeding advocate.
Dr. Huang is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

In 2006, Elana Grann received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Exercise Science from The College of New Jersey. In 2008, she completed her nursing degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Rutgers University. Elana served as a charge nurse on a surgical floor, where she was awarded Medical-Surgical Nurse of the Year. She later returned to Rutgers University in order to pursue a Master’s degree in nursing, with a specialization in Women’s Health.

Since receiving her NCC certification as a Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner in April of 2012, Elana has been living her dream of caring for women in various life stages: from adolescence, to pregnancy and menopause.

Elizabeth Colaiocco, a Board Certified Advanced Practice Nurse, specializes in women’s health. She has both a Master’s of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner Certification at Wagner College where she received the Highest Academic Distinction Award and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, an International Honor Society for Nursing. She has worked in gynecology for more than 10 years and is experienced in contraception, menopause, obstetrics and preventive gynecological exams.

Elizabeth possesses expertise in breast cancer risk assessment and in the development of a customized treatment plan for women with a personal and/or family history of hereditary cancer syndromes. She is trained in Nexplanon insertions/removals; serves as a lactation consultant, specializing in breast-feeding; and is passionate about delivering high quality health care, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention.

Savita Sukha is a Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from Denville, New Jersey. In 2015, she graduated magna cum laude from Boston College, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. At BC, she served as an Undergraduate Research Fellow, Health Coach for the Office of Health Promotion, and a nursing scholar in the Keys to Inclusive Leadership in Nursing (KILN) program. She received KILN’s Key Award for noteworthy scholarship and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International, the Honor Society of Nursing.

During her undergraduate synthesis rotation at Department of Public Health’s National Sexual Assault TeleNursing Center, Savita developed a strong passion for combating issues that affect the sexual health and general wellbeing of women. To pursue a career that allows her to care for women across the lifespan, Savita attended University of Pennsylvania’s Women’s Health/Gender-Related Nurse Practitioner program, earning her Master of Science in Nursing. Also interested in leadership, innovation, and philanthropy, Savita has served many executive board positions at Penn, competed in a health tech start-up competition, and organized charity events and health fairs for Philadelphia’s local community.
