In 2005, Dr. Diana Huang received her Bachelor’s Degree from Barnard College-Columbia University, graduating magna cum laude. During her undergraduate studies, she was an undergraduate research fellow in Dr. Cathy Mendelsohn’s Urology Lab.
In 2009, Dr. Huang pursued her Medical Degree from SUNY-Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Education, where she received the Cylde L. Randall Society Award in Gynecology-Obstetrics for Academic Excellence. In 2013, Dr. Huang completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Beth Israel Medical Center, where she was honored as Chief Resident. She also received the Resident Research Award and the AAGL Resident Award in Minimally Invasive Surgery during her chief year. Dr. Huang’s peer-reviewed research paper, “Tuberculosis peritonitis presenting as acute abdomen: a case report” is published in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Huang has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery. She is also a breastfeeding advocate.
Dr. Huang is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
